When I'm In Prayer

I have set a little time aside for you
I have found a quiet space to crawl into
I don't have much to say
Just want to be with you today
I feel you there
When I'm in prayer

I put my hands together
I put my hands together for the lord
I put my hands together
And he hears my every word.
Then I tell him what I'm thinking
How I feel, or just "hello"
But most of all I thank Him
Thank you Lord, you make me whole.

There is nothing in this world that I could do
There is nothing that can come between us two
You're with me where I go
You sent your son to let me know
I feel you there
When I'm in prayer

I put my hands together
I put my hands together for the lord
I put my hands together
And he hears my every word.
Then I tell him what I'm thinking
How I feel, or just "hello"
But most of all I thank Him
Thank you Lord, you make me whole.

I find you in the strangest places
Like underneath the stairs
Or sitting on the swing set
when no one else is there
I am sure I've heard your whisper
pitter patter in the rain
Cause when I listen closely
I can hear your holy name

You are everywhere and everything to me
We are lock-in-step and singin' joyfully
And when I need you most,
You pick me up and hold me close
I feel you there
When I'm in Prayer

Yes, I feel you there
When I'm in Prayer
